Local SEO · Middlesbrough & Teesside

Be one of the businesses people actually find.

Help local customers find and trust you when they search for what you do — through your Google Business Profile, your site structure, and the signals that tell Google where you work.

A business profile and service-area page structure, showing opening hours, services and reviews presented consistently across a website and a search listing.

Most local searches never reach page two.

When someone searches “plumber Middlesbrough” or “dentist near me”, they look at the map results and the first handful of links. If you are not in that set, the quality of your website is irrelevant — nobody is looking at it.

Local visibility comes down to a small number of unglamorous things done consistently: a complete and accurate Google Business Profile, a website that clearly states which services you offer and which areas you cover, identical business details everywhere they appear, and a steady flow of recent reviews.

None of it is a trick, and none of it is instant. What we can promise is that the foundations will be right, that you will be able to see what changed, and that we will not invent a ranking guarantee nobody can honestly give.

What the work involves

The unglamorous things, done properly.

  1. Google Business Profile setup and optimisation

Categories, services, service areas, opening hours, attributes, photographs and posts — completed accurately and kept current. Verification itself is a Google process we guide you through; it cannot be completed from code.

  2. Consistent name, address and phone

The same business name, contact details and service-area wording on your website, your profile and any directory listing. Inconsistency here quietly undermines everything else.

  3. Service and area page structure

A genuine page for each service you want to be found for, and area pages only where you really work and have something specific to say. We do not build hundreds of thin town pages.

  4. Local keyword and page mapping

Which page targets which search, so your own pages stop competing with each other for the same term.

  5. Technical and on-page foundations

Local business and service schema, clean URLs, correct heading structure, internal links, canonical tags, sitemap and indexation checks.

  6. Review flow and reporting

A simple, compliant way to ask satisfied customers for reviews, plus Search Console reporting that shows real impressions, clicks and queries rather than a vanity dashboard.

Where it fits

Visibility is only the first step of four.

Local SEO gets you seen. What happens next decides whether being seen is worth anything.

  • This service

    They find you

Profile, service pages and local signals put you in the set of businesses being considered.

  • Website design

    They judge you

A slow or vague site wastes the visibility you have just paid for.

  • AI reception

    They ask a question

Chat and AI reception answer it at 9pm on a Sunday, when the alternative is silence.

  • Automation

    You follow up

Speed of response is often what decides who wins a local job.

Common questions

Can you guarantee I will rank first?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Rankings depend on competition, proximity to the searcher, your review profile and factors nobody outside Google controls. What we can do is make sure the foundations are correct, the profile is complete, and you can see in Search Console what is actually changing.

How long does local SEO take to show results?

Profile improvements can show within weeks. Structural and content changes usually take two to four months to settle. Anything promising results in days is describing a paid ad, not local SEO.

Do I need a Google Business Profile if I have no shopfront?

Yes, if you visit customers. Google allows service-area businesses to hide their address and list the areas they cover instead. We will only publish an address where the location genuinely meets Google's eligibility rules — publishing one that does not risks the listing.

Will you build a page for every town in Teesside?

No. Mass-produced location pages with the town name swapped out perform badly and read badly. We build area pages where you genuinely work and where there is something real to say about working there.
